A DRIVER has been disqualified after being seen using a mobile phone while driving on the M5 near Taunton.
Police said the driver was disqualified for six months and ordered to pay a total of £276 in fine, costs, and victim surcharge.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “This driver was seen using a mobile phone whilst driving on the M5 near Taunton last year.
“Case heard last week at North Somerset Magistrates Court where the driver received six months disqualification (totting up) £133 fine, £90 costs, and £53 victim surcharge.”
